Has anyone out there designed your own fabric and had it printed and made?  I know this might be really involved and possible expensive, but I have a pattern that I've drawn up that I think is perfect for a design project, AND can't find anything else that looks remotely good in fabric stores or online.

What do you think?  Someone with experience, please speak up.

Depending how much you have (it may be to time consuming) you could silk screen it in a repeating pattern of some sort.

I've been wondering the same thing. I can never find the exact designs I'd like. And my husband is a smashing graphic designer.

We have a friend that has a press (silk screening) so I guess we could do that.

I'm sure they'll both tell me its a pain in the butt though. I do wonder how much it would be to have something printed.
