Since I love all things tropical, I made this clock as a "happy place" reminder when I'm rushed.

I took a plain wood plaque and clock mechanism from the craft store, painted and crackled, and decoupaged some images from a magazine for this tropical escape clock.  Kinda bummed about the wrinkles, but I guess it gives it character.

That is such a great idea to put really relaxing pics on a clock since you only usually look at them when there is some kind of deadline pending!
