Three new cuties headed out for their new homes.

I love these bright rainbow socks

Next up is a basic Outdoor style Sock Monkey with the exception of custom ears.

Last but not least, a cute Lawyer in a Vested Suit.

Ooo, tamara-loves-monkeys, those are adorable! All three are spectacular. I was actually looking to make my friend a hippie-esque sock monkey for her birthday, hopefully with dreadlocks. Problem is, I can't find a good tut, on craftster or anywhere on the internet, on how to sew one. I'm fine with the mechanics of sewing by hand, but I'm not experienced at figuring out patterns, etc., on my own. Do you happen to know of any? Thanks so much!

I found my sock monkey pattern by googling "free sock monkey pattern" or something to that effect.

I like making stuff. Rumor has it, I'm an elf. Like a Santa Elf, not one of those elegant LOTR types.  Mostly because I compulsively craft and partially because I have green shoes.

The basic patterns for monkeys are here

And I know that web-goddess.org has a good tut, but I don't have the url anymore.

I have never had a sock monkey and now I want one!  The top one is awesome and the outdoor monkey would be great on a backpack.  Lawyer monkey looks a little like my mom's lawyer!  Cheesy
