As with many other crafsters, I have fallen in love with Wendy Mullin's patterns. The first one I fell in love with was the 4111 top.

It only took me four hours (one hour a day in my sewing class) to complete because it was really simple. It's also terribly cute!!

I will deffinatly make another one when I have nothing else to do, and I would also like to lengthen it into a dress. So many plans, must sew quicker!!

The next pattern: 3835 (top/tunic/dress) I really wanted to make the short dress, but couldn't find any fabric I liked so I settled for some little leaf patterned fabric for the top. Pictures to come soon!

**EDIT**
I finnished the second top. I must say this is the simplest little top pattern ever. So quick and easy, and very cute! Plus different with each fabric you make it in. And it only takes one meter of fabric!

So you must know by now I love love love this pattern. I decided to add the pockets to it even though it's only shown for the dress. I think it looks cute, and they blend in witht he fabric so only I know they're there!

Plus I made a matching headband with scraps. I got the idea from Teen Vogue's new website. They have this feauture where readers intereperate fashion photo's that are in the mag. One feature was on headbands, and they showed this picture of a girl with an amazing headband that was braided with threee different fabrics. So I made one with the scraps and I think it looks cute.

I feel like a hippy, but I'm totally going to wear this tomorrow!

It's lovely!  Lovely pattern, lovely fabric.  What fabric did you use?

Definitely going on my list of patterns to buy.  I bet it would hide my baby belly just fine, although I don't think pudge is a problem for you.   Grin

Thanks for the nice replies!!

The fabirc is just some flannel I found at my local Fabricanna. I love plaid and this makes it look cute  Cheesy Plus it's warm and comfy. The buttons were just some random ones from my Grandmothers button tin.

Wow! I'm really impressed! I've been working on sleeves myself, but they haven't exactly turned out right yet. Anyways, I think a dress like that would be fabulous! Sewing is so addicting!

Both shirts look great, well done, and flattering.  Thanks for letting us know the pattern numbers because I would have definitely asked you.
