I will do that if I get out of the salon at a decent hour. Thanks!  Grin

Well, I seem to have somehow pissed off the transportation gods. My car died, so I'm stuck running errands I need to get done for work and school via bus. I *might* be able to stop by thai ku later, but it looks like I'll probably miss all the fun. Next time.

Hello Seattlites!

I hope everyone is having a good time at Archie right now! I don't know if anyone is planning on getting together again soon, but is there room for one more in your little group?

My name is Sarah, and I love to sew and craft. I moved to Seattle for college a year and a half ago, so I know of a lot of cool places to go in Seattle, but there's also a ton left to get to know--that's where you guys come in, right?

Hey, it was super-swanky to see you ladies again, and to add another victi friend to the posse!  Yay for Pleko!

Folara and Bemaha, there will certainly be other get-togethers, never fear!  We'll probably poke this thread when planning the next one.  There was some discussion tonight of a trek down to Lacey (near Olympia) to go to Shipwreck Beads.

Ooh, I just thought of something!  Rings & Things (www.rings-things.com) does a road show thing a couple times a year, and they bring literally a semi-truck FULL of kickass bargain beads to the area.  The next one is April 1 in Seattle (which I can't go to, 'cause I have a four-day gig March 29-April 2) and April 14 in Auburn at Green River Community College.  More info here.  You have to have a WA tax ID # and an invitation from R&T to attend, however, but I have that covered.  If y'all want to go, I'm going to the one on Aug. 14.  Seriously, the pricing is amazing and the selection is always really, really interesting.

Yeah, my stylist held me captive until 7 p.m., by which time I needed to race home and study for a statistics exam (ugggggh!). Next time, though.

I just went to Shipwreck for the first time this weekend and am HOOKED! That Auburn thing in August sounds pretty spiffy, too. Let us know more about it when that time comes.

So when we met, there was discussion of a trek down to shipwreck beads in Lacey? Are people still interested? I was thinking of maybe heading down on Sunday.

I won't be able to go, unfortunately.  I have a crap-ton of work to get done, and I don't have any spare cash anyway, boo!  Hope you have a blast!
