My first attempt at amigurumi...i need to make my stitches tighter or use a different kind of thread. I picked up some sugar and cream yarn for my next attempt in the hopes that it will look a little better, He's far from perfect, but i still think he's cute:) reminds me of figment from Epcot:)

Just use a size or two smaller hook and those spaces will close.  Wink

Great first amigurumi!

Awww...  I haven't made one of these guys yet.  I have been wanting to and wanting to, but to be quite honest, it has been a while since I have done anything like this.  I think that he is very cute though.  I really like the fact that he isn't 100% perfect.  It gives him a little personality.   Grin

Aww a cutie Smiley

yes, a smaller hook might help but so would stuffing it with yarn the same color as the animal.  Then it all blends in.

Great first time.

Are you hooked yet? Wink

Yes try an E or an F hook. Be forwarded that cotton can be a bit splitty which is a little frustrating when you are trying to crochet tightly.

I personally think it's adorable just the way that it is!
