here is my entry for this month's challenge. i didn't go quite as far back in time as some of you, but oh well! it's called "sheila franklin" after the character in the musical "Hair", the inspiration for this top.

i designed the pattern myself based on styles i've seen. it is knit in KnitPicks Swish Superwash (color: Fired Brick) on size 6 needles. the embroidery was done in Swish (color: Wisteria) and Louisa Harding Kashmir Aran.
