Booglass, I wish I could say that I made that flower pattern up, but alas, I did not. I found it here.

To make the leaves, here's what I (think I) did:
Chain 3
Row 1: 2 hdc in the 2nd chain of foundation row, 1 hdc in the next chain, turn
Row 2: Chain 2, 2 hdc in 1st stitch, hdc to end, turn
Repeat row 2 until the leaf is long and wide enough.

I made 2 leaves - one slightly bigger than the other, and sewed them in place on the back of the flower.

The centers were easy - they're beads and a few sequins that I strung through the center of the flower.

Hope that helps ya, boo!  Cheesy

Sorry it has taken me so long to post the info about the poppy I made - here's the scoop:

I took this pattern from this book: http://www.helengibb.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=hg&Product_Code=101&Category_Code=100

I have searched online for a site showing a similar flower or method to point you to, but I haven't found one and since I can't post the books instructions - I can't give you a tute - Sorry about that!  Tongue

However - if you are interested in ribbon flowers - it is a great book and I recommend it.

Here are pics of the pins I got:

The big one on the left is from Sugaree, who said this was her 1st attempt at making flower pins. I think she did very well, no?

The two on the right are from IqJones. I think that the pink one looks like a dogwood blossom, and the purple one looks like a pansy, which is perfect 'cause I love both of those kinds of flowers!
