So I had an order for a diaper bag, I have always only done diaper totes, but she wanted the elastic pockets on the sides.  So I ventured there.  I was short on fabric, but I all worked great I think.  I lined all the pockets with a lime colored fabric that matches tinks outfit.  I didn't have enough of the purple fabric to do a zipper on the top and I didn't have a zipper the right length or the time to install one.   So I did 2 magnetic snaps.  So what do you think?

Great job on the diaper bag. Very creative and fun way to line the pockets.
I bought some of that purple Tink fabric.  I don't have a clue as to what I'm going to do with it but I just loved it and had to  have it.  Unfortunately I have lots of fabric that I acquired that way. There have been many times I've passed up fabric that I've really liked but didn't have a "purpose" for then kicked myself later when I had a project for the certain fabric and couldn't find it anywhere.  So now it's in my stash and I know if I want to use it I have it.

Love it! The elastic pockets look very nice.
And the fabric is very cute! I would buy that without knowing what to make of it too!

I love it. Fantastic job.

P.S. I think snaps are easier and more helpful than zippers on a diaper bag so YEY! for you.

I was thinking the same thing about the snaps, sometimes you need to grab something quick and you can just grab your hand in this way, much easier then working a zipper in the mist of a crisis.
