I finished a few bears already. I'm using soft white insteasd of bright white becuase it just looks better. I am using brown for the bears and a sage green for the background since we don't know the gender of my friend's baby.

I haven't figured out how to do the eyes though. I am not going to use the googly eyes, but when they say cross stich, what do they mean? I'm just not exactly sure how to go about this. I have quite a ways to go before I get to that point but I want to be sure of what I am doing.

I could possibly be in.  My DD found out she was pregnant after going to the hospital for abdominal pains.  Having to follow up with another Dr.  According to the ER she may be trying to miscarry.

I found a pattern for the basic bear pattern.  The photo is something I would like to make if anyone can translate the pattern.

I'm not the brightest crayon in the box.

I finished this a while ago, as in, months ago (early may, I believe). My friend loved it, and it matched the bedding she picked out for the baby's room. She ended up having a girl, so everything else I have made for her has been pinkish. I didn't make the blanket as big as the instructions said, becuase I realized it said to make the thing 5 feet tall! This blanket was really tedious, but I finally finished!

And here's a closeup on the faces. I made eyes out of felt. I am sure there is an easier way, but it turned out cute anyway. The eyes aren't all uniform, but I think that makes it look homemade. I did fix the one eye on the light bear before I gave it away though, becuase it was too weird looking.

OH WOW!!!!  I LOVE THOSE COLORS!!!!  GREAT JOB!!!!

To be honest with you, ended up that I haven't had time time to make this like I thought I would, lol.  I have just a few squares made and then put it down and worked on several charity projects that I needed help.

After seeing your beautiful blankie I may just have to change my colors, lol.

Hi I love your teddy bear afghans.  I have searched eBay for this pattern and didn't find it.  Does anyone know where else I can buy it or if you know if there is a pattern left on eBay?   Yours in crocheting, Brenda
