I made this for my current love interest.  The fabric is actually painted.  I wanted it to look like concrete:

For not having an embroidery hoop for the first half, I don't think I did too bad a job! Tongue

This is so cool. I love it! Are you planning to turn more of Banksy's art into embroidery? would love to see it if you do.

love that... I really like that you painted the fabric, looks great!
Oh and that is awesome for no hoop, although it was probably nice to not have the "ring" to iron out. I am not a fan of ironing Cheesy

...but for now we are young, let us lay in the sun, and count every beautiful thing we can see...

Ha, it still needs to be ironed unfortunately, but the paint managed to relax some of it.  Too bad i don't have an iron!

wow. that's great, i've been wanting to try this sort of thing for a while and my brother is a huge bansky fan.

i also like that you said "current love interest" i always use that phrase and didn't know anyone else who does. (although some people seem to be slightly offended by it)

ADORE THIS!!!  Did you do it by hand!?  It almost looks machine done... Forgive me for being a little silly... WOWZERS!  LOVE IT!

Human rights are for EVERYONE.  Did you know that Aung San Suu Kyi had been released from house arrest in Burma? Many other prisoners of conscience are still being detained.  Please research this topic... Amnesty International needs your help.
