so i made twinkle's Tuxedo sweater for my SIL and that was before i realize that all the patterns are flat measured, so you double it to find the right bust. Needless to say that because I was un-aware of that fact I knit the whole thing about 2 sizes too big!

I'm getting ready to re-knit it in the right size, which i am looking forward too surprisingly, because they really do knit up SUPER quick! I will post a pick of the horrible sweater before i take it apart and put up pictures here, then I'll post again when i finish it the right way!

Love all the stuff i've seen on here, i really need to get this book!

Thank you!  It's too late for that, so I'll try the pockets another way.  Now my problem is figuring out the short row shaping on the neck.  When the pattern says "continue in established stripe pattern" until neck measures 13" am I supposed to continue doing short rows, or am I switching back to simple rounds?

I'm making the Shopping Tunic, and I have the same question as Neuromancer. Do I continue the short rows for the rest of the cowl neck?!? I'm confused...

thanks! i've been wearing it open or with just one or two of the top buttons done - it is warm but really not bad - i was worried it was going to be a parka - but it has been good spring wear over dresses etc

I'm so glad i found this and I hope to revive this now that we're approaching Fall here on the East coast.  I'd like to start with the biker vest.  Would this be a good option for a first time sweater?  I've knitted many scarves and I'd like to attempt this one.  Any helpful info would be great!!

So I finished my tuxedo jacket. I am quite happy with how it turned out, it's still for my SIL but I need to get it in the mail to her. It's a VERY late Christmas gift.
