mark.

You don't have to figure it out.  Tell me which one you want to make, and I'll give you the ring sizes. a quick tute, and a link to the basic weave.

These are standard weaves, no one really can lay claim to them.  They're all variations of basic maille.

Those look fantastic.  The Ring Lord also carries neoprene rings.  theringlord.com

Unfortunately, if you are in the States, the shipping time is long and the shipping cost is high, making the cost of the rings jump, jump, jump. I did find a site cruising around where they want 13.00 for 100 rings!!! WHAT?Huh?

I am going to take a pic of one that we just finished together.  Leah had a little bit of trouble putting the two chains together, so I did that for her.

Stay tuned!!!

Lisa

Late poster here....

Nice stuff! You guys are doing great.....still haven't got into the neoprene here.

Actually though, the Ring Lord has gotten MUCH faster with the shipping. I got my last order with hand sawn rings in about a week and a half! Shipping is a bit on the high side, but I order enough rings that it's worth it anyhow.  Grin

Let her know that it's very beautiful, and to keep up the great work!
Have fun!

Thanks.

I've been making maille for a thousand years, and didn't realize how much I missed doing it until she had asked to have this for her party.

I'm re-addicted.  Just finished a conundrum bracelet (well, I have to make the clasp for it) in copper...that's the one that Leah (my niece) built the two rows for but had trouble connecting together.

I just love the whole process, from coiling and cutting my own rings, to "mindlessly" weaving, and then, with bracelets, being finished so quickly.

Instant gratification.

The neoprene is lots of fun...I sometimes forget that they are closed rings and don't add them to the open ring at the right time!

We've got maille!!!

Lisa
