if anyone's interested in these, feel free to message me

almost everything you need to know is contained within this book:

The Art of Resin Jewelry

i use RTV (cures at room temperature) liquid silicone, cast moulds of plugs i've got on hand, and touch them up after they cure.  it's pretty simple.  the hard part is simply working with the materials (silicone and resin) and getting rid of those bubbles.

I normally think stretched ears look funny, but your plugs are awesome! And I'm in awe over the piercing through the middle of your ear. I especially love your rose plugs. You should sell those if you already don't!

To be honest, ear plugs have always scared me a little bit but these are just gorgeous.  Shocked I cant believe you made them!! They look so smooth and professional and beautiful. Great job!!

Holy!
Those are wicked!  Grin

I'm in supreme need of some new plugs (around 5/8ths of an inch)
Totally blew my polymer clay plugs out of the water.

*ponders* maybe I should start playing with resins and silicons.

much as I LOVE gouged ears, I know that they won't look nice on me and that my parents/family would freak if I stretched my ears. Tongue But I love the look of gouged earrings and jewelery.  You did such an amazing job!  You'd have no problem selling them i'm sure.

These are incredibley super great-- they look very professional.  My gauges as of yet are only 4's, and tunnels dont show up as wonderfully as yours do--- Your tinting and glitter work is great-- you should do some more imbedding of objects, if I had 0's I would totally have little plastic ninjas or something in them.....
the rose button idea is really cute and original.
so impressed...

Oh, um, it's gauged, not gouged.... that would hurt!  Wink

Also, mine are a 6 gauge and people barely notice. (or at least they don't say anything and seem slightly surprised when I take out my jewelry)

These are absolutely amazing!  It's so hard to find interesting plugs.  Thanks for sharing!
