This is one of my favorite knits of all time. I call it cozysexycool, because that's what it is. And also, because I like TLC. Don't go chasing waterfalls... Ah, middle school. Those were the days. Anyway. I was going for a nice chunky turtleneck sweater, but with sex appeal.  Because hiding in huge sweaters all winter gets dull, but shivering in your cute little top is even worse. So here is my answer. True, I haven't found an answer to world hunger, but for the answer to the winter blahs, I'm your girl.

Yeah, it's just a basic top-down raglan.  I bound off the front after a few rows, then stopped the back when I separated the sleeves from the body.  Or where the body would have started.  After I finished the sleeves I just added a turtleneck on top and picked up the stitches around the bottom and did a few rows of ribbing.  It's really easy, but I had issues with fitting (read: I'm bad at math) so I had to rip a few times before it fit the way I wanted it to.

Love it! The ribbing is a smart idea, though you can't see it in the pic because of the variegated yarn.

Cute!  It reminds me of the Teva Durham turtleneck shrug from Scarf Style.

Very cute!  I really want to make this from Scarf Style!  Is it awkward to wear?  That's my only concern.  But you're rocking it!

I thought that was from Scarf Style at first, too, but I think I like this better.
I also still like TLC too.

Did you knit thumb holes into the end of the sleeves?
