So you would get a list of say 5 of your partner's favorite (short) sayings, phrases, quotes or lyrics. Then you would make one cross stitch sampler no larger than say 8 1/2 x 11. Kinda like subversive cross stitch but more personalized.
Like this cool one made by weeta:

If the quote is particularly long you could do it more like this one made by me:

You would have say a 3-4 week crafting time for this one.

Oooh. That sounds like fun! I've always wanted to make a subversive cross stitch-style sampler. Smiley

Should we include on the questionare how you want it finished? Like foam core mounted, framed, in a trivet, no preference?
Is three weeks enough time?

Oh my gosh, this would be so much fun! Smiley I love to cross stitch but "easy" things like, well, words and quotes are definitely my preference. I have to wait a few more days before I can participate in swaps, but this would be a fun first one for me I think Cheesy

Maybe make the size a little smaller too? Like 4x6 or trivet size?
If it is a small enough group - what about also mailing or emailing the pattern to everyone too - as long as you made it up or used free site.
