Yes, I definately have Easter on my mind. (Still haven't found the duck or bunny applique patterns I'm looking for BTW)

Since I love marshmallow peeps, and can't justify eating them now that I've been diagnosed with diabetes, i had to make my own sweet treat, a baby peep:

My first attempt at making/writing this pattern didn't turn out the way I intended, so I made a baby duck out of it, and I just love him!

And a view from the top:

Anybody interested in the pattern?? LOL

I thought I was the only one besides my mom who likes them like this but then I saw this show on Food Network called 'Unwrapped' and they had peeps on there and when they asked the best way to eat them so many ppl said to let them sit out and get kind of hard. I was so excited that I wasn't the only one.

Marjorie these are crazy cute!! I'm diabetic too and maybe, if I imagine hard enough, one of these will squelch my Easter sweet tooth. Smiley But it'll have to be a pink one, they're my favorite.

Thanks for posting this! Me and my husband to be bought a baby ferret a couple months back and I've recently gotten into crocheting. So I made him a little blanket out of soft baby blanket yarn and I made your cute ducky which I stuffed with a round rattle ball. He loves it!
