My first love is embroidery...and as of late I've combined it with my growing love of bag/pouch making...

Here's something I made for my sister in law...be gentle...I'm still new to the bag making thing....

The front!

The back, portion of a line from my favourite Edith Piaf song.

And pink scrap interior.

In the immortal words of Socrates, who said, "I drank what?".

I think this is awesome! Can't believe no one else has commented.

Your embroidery is flawless! I am loving the blossoms. Great colors... great everything! Super job, kantha_stitch!!

Oooh, and I like the lyrics line added on the back.

Beautiful! What a lovely design you used. I would be so chuffed with that. Grin

Beautiful embrodery job.  I would have loved to seen a pic of the purse a little further away, it is hard to get the whole effect so close up.

Thanks so much....truth be told...I thought that perhaps I was proud of it for nothing and that to everyone else it looked like crap.  Thanks for the kind words...I already gave the bag to my SIL so...I have no access to the pouch now.

What's to be gentle about?  I think it is extremely well made and the embroidery is awesome.  Your sister-in-law is L-U-C-K-Y!
