I made this with my mom a few months ago  I think it turned out pretty nice and everyone loved the tie!!

This is such cute dress (and nice tie as well  Wink).  Very traditional style, with a little punch!  Hopefully you will be able to wear it for many more occasions.

that looks really great.. i also made a dress, for prom, that was red with a checkerboard panel alllll the way down the back. then my boyfriend had a matching shirt (red) and a checkerboard tie.
