this might be my horrible taste in 70 fashion, but maybe you could turn the sleeves into like....bell sleeve armwarmers! like put elastice on the end and wear that part rear your elbows. i think i have to draw this out cuz it'll either look wicked sweet or absolutely stupid.

That's a beautiful dress, either way. I think the coloring on you looks really nice, too. Great work on the recon. I'm shorter from waist to shoulder than the model, so those longish, wide sleeves wouldn't work on me either. They'd have to be scaled down for a smaller figure. I'd have had the same problem, but I may not have been smart enough to figure out what to do, like you did! Ingenious!

heehee sounds interesting! unfortunately I had to cut up some of the sleeves to add the banding around the necklace, but there is still plenty of fabric left to do something with...
