I've been waiting impatiently for my electric skeiner to get here so I can wind off and dye yarn. Well, last week it finally arrived, so I got to work winding and dyeing!

I started with this..

which turned into this...

Which yesterday became this...

And for some closeups...
Roses Are Red

SeaFoam (this is the blues above - this image is more accurate, but still not 100% yet)

This one hasn't been named yet..

And my favoriteist one of them all..
Chocolate Chiffon

These are just quick pictures of them, some need to be rephotographed for better colour accuracy.

This was just WAY too much fun!

Good grief! You gave a girl on a yarn diet and heavy craving. They look like they want to be cuddled, they really do. They're all really pretty. I just love the image of all of them drying on the shower rod.

Hehe.. I've been craving chocolate since I re-skeined the browns. Really. It was all I could do to keep from walking to CVS last night to get some chocolate. There's a reason I don't keep any at home. I even had to keep the yarn out of sight, but I kept turning around to go look at it!

I love love love seeing the colours develop and change when I reskein them. Sometimes I end up suprised to see how they look! I was expecting that brown to be a lot darker.. more like dark chocolate, not like milk chocolate!

Gorgeous!
How do you get such perfect variations of light and dark colors on each of those skeins?

So pretty!! I recently have wanted to take up spinning, but I have to save up for the wheel for mmm....awhile. For now I am resigned to dying prespun wool so may I ask where you got yours from?? Or did you make it yourself? Also, what dyes did you use?

they're beautiful!

I love the all the colors!  How did you get such a variation?  What dyeing technique did you use?  I am dying (sorry) to learn more!
