I need 3.5 mm DPNS for various projects, but wandering around all the Wellington craft shops have not been able to find any. This seems quite bizarre, as they have all the other sizes (well, up to 6mm anyway) but 3.5mm.
I'm going to check with a few places and see if they can order them in-reluctantly, as the ladies in Welly Knitworld scare the beejezus out of me-but can anyone think of reason why they DON'T seem to have any?
Are all you other knitters stockpiling them? Or is there a more realistic reason?

I got mine (ashford) at Knitworld. Maybe I got the last ones. The stock certainly seems very random... but the staff are not as scary as they look. Ok - they are sometimes, but they will get stuff in for you. Occasionally the op shop at the top of cuba st has old sets of dpns.

Kirks sell (well they used to sell!) DPNS - I got some in the last sale. It might be worth having a look?
