No worries. I posted here, and then I thought will anyone read this. Should have said cross post.

the circumference of my head is about 22".
I just finished the hat on size 6 needles with red heart classic worsted weight acrylic yarn and it fits perfectly. I will post a picture of it in the next few days.
If you are having trouble with increases try this website. Knittinghelp.com . It has video how to's. A true godsend

Awesome. Smiley Good to know.

I know how to do increases, but I am guessing the one I did is where I had my problem. I am going to try again. I am knitting pants and a shirt for my son's doll right now, but as soon as that is done. And I agree about knittinghelp.com Cheesy

thanks again. Very helpful.

@ peopleshootinghat: your hats remind me of traditional Dutch hats, as part of traditional women costumes.
They are nice.

How did you all seam this up?  I have only done matress stitch on plain stockinette and I am at a total loss on how to go about seaming this one!  I finished mine a week or so ago and am dying to wear it! HELP, please!

TIA.
