for small dots, i get a piece of toilet paper, and twirl up the corner or something, until it's in sort of a cone shape. after a while, it'll get hard to use, but just make another!

i've done american flags, stripes, polka dots, and probably a lot of other stuff with this.

i also once used liquid acrylics, and a small paintbrush. i highly reccommend using a clear topcoat though, mine are all chipped, and the one nail that got a thicker coat is peeling.  Sad

Sally Beauty Supply sells nail polish that has thin brushes ment for details like these ones. I love em.

I have loads of ideas for nails but one of the ones real quick is:

Paint your nails a medium green. THen add splotches of dark green kahki and black....
After this you shouldnt be able to see your nail......well thats what the military uses THEIR camo for right?

i use liquid eyeliner to draw in the detail. it comes in so many colors now! (hmmm...that kinda makes me sound old....). just make sure to put a clear topcoat over it and voila! oh, and one of my favorites is smiley faces. yellow nails w/black eyes and mouths. makes me grin everytime i look at them Cheesy

For little dots could you cut the swab part off a q-tip, and use the cardboard part?
