After 34,656,546 attempts at teaching myself crochet (I'm a knitter), I finally got it. I looove the Amigurumi Kingdom baby bat and I decided to figure out how to make one for myself.
Heeeere's Wingy!

He's my 2 year anniversary present for my boyfriend (we have a thing about bats). I haven't gotten around to mailing it cuz I'm a bad girlfriend, but I showed him these pics and he's in love with it! I'm making another one to match, that I'll be keeping. ;]

Now I can't stop making amigurumi  Lips sealed Helllllllp.

There will always be people who say mean words  because you are different, and sometimes their minds cannot be changed. There are many more people who do not judge others based on how they look or where they are from. THOSE are the people whose WORDS truly matter.

oh, how cute.  Did you wing it, or is there some sort of pattern on this?

Aww so cute.  Lucky you on learning a new craft.  Knitting makes no sense to me.

Thanks, you guys :]

No pattern for him... I just kind of looked at patterns similar to the shape of what I wanted to make, and then experimented. I couldn't find anything that was precisely what I wanted but eventually it started looking the way I wanted it to. I initially tried it in two pieces, head and body, with a dark brown yarn, but it definitely looked like some turds and that wasn't what I was aiming for. Tongue

I still think knitting is easier. You could so do it.
