Hi.  I found this fabric at Walmart and thought it would be great to quilt and make into a Vera Bradley style bag.  I'm not really a big fan of paisley, but it isn't overpowering in this fabric and I love the flowers.  And of course...the matching wallet.

Great set!  Your bag does resemble my favorite Vera bag that I own - but self-made is so much better. I absolutely love the fabrics you used and the placement.

That came out beautifully! I love both blue and paisley, and cotton, and quilting, and sewing. In short, I love everything about your set there. Have fun with it!

I have a VB, just one, and have copied it, but prequilted fabric is not inexpensive.  Recently found flamingo prequilted for $8 at Wallyworld.  Better yet, Beall's department store sells them for $14 on sale.

This is a really cute set!  I am on a Vera Bradley kick right now too and I have been quilting everything I make.  I love the quilted look.  You did a great job.

I'm interested in personal swaps -- I love bracelets & necklaces and I don't know how to make them.
