Just make a hat!

Huzzah! One more project done. I made this for a friend. Someone posted the one she made for her step dad (level 40 paladin in WoW at the time), I showed my friend the photo and she had to have it.

I was happy to have an excuse to buy some Berrocco Pleasure on sale at Yarn.com, two more needles sizes for my set of Knitpicks Options and, on top of that, learn how to do Magic Loop which is pretty nice.

Your buns are way cuter than mine.

Wait, that didn't sound right.

I made a Princess Leia hat and my hair/buns were not as big and fluffy as yours.

That's better.

Very cute!

Misscritta...you're too funny. I stuffed the tubes that made up the bun part as I went. Also, she said don't stuff too much but I knit that part tightly so I put in more than the designer probably did.

Thanks, bruisinraincloud.

I have to agree with Misscritta. These are the best buns I've seen!

I'll have to remember that. I've been "commissioned" to make a couple more for a little kid's birthday party coming up.

Wow. That is sooo cute!
Too bad I don't have anyone to make that for, otherwise I'd be begging my mom to take me to my LYS right now!

I've been coveting one of these... how long do they take to knit?  It looks like it would be forever, and I don't really have time or patience..
