This was adapted from a fall 2003 Vogue knitting pattern.  I'm pretty happy with it.  It was a VERY quick knit.  I used yarn I unraveled from a GAP sweater  (it's a 60% wool/40% acrylic mix).  If anyone likes it, I can provide more details.

Looks great. I love anything with a hood. Is that a tassel I see hanging off the back?

Yes, it is a tassel.  It actually wasn't supposed to be there, but that part of the hood looked weird, so I added it -- I also added a wood bead, but you can't see it in the picture.

Oh wow! I don't know how I missed this post!  Cheesy This vest looks great! And I usually don't like vests. lol. I think it's the bulkier yarn, toggle, and (I love ) the tassle!

I like to do personal swaps now and again.

I knit, crochet, and make stitch markers.

Just pm me if you wanna swap. Smiley

Thank you eatyerhartout.  It looks a bit uneven in the picture (down on the left side), but doesn't in real-life.  I would recommend the pattern -- it was in a Vogue Knitting mag (I think it was 2004) that I checked out of the library.  I changed it by adding the double seed stitch border on the bottom and the front trim.  I also added the tassle to the hood.

Your vest is really cute!  I would love a shorter one.  I may have to find that old issue. Smiley
