i've already started mine in knitpicks' essential african violet:

however, this yarn gets all fuzzy and feels icky, so unless you already have it don't use it.
anyone else want to knit w/ me? i've already felt the first wave of holy crap this is going to take ages and then all i'll want to do is frame them. patt is here: http://www.eunnyjang.com/knit/2006/09/bayerische_sock_part_ii.html

I'm working on this, too! Smiley

Beware!  There are mistakes on page 2:

On the gussets and foot section: it should be "Work Row 2 of Chart C across next 9 sts." Not 19.  Tongue  It's missing a K1tbl in between Charts C and D2. (see pics on page 2) Total of this section should be 50 sts.

(I am modifying this to work with http://knitty.com/issuesummer06/pattuniversalsock.html, so I'm starting from the toe)

ibunnysavetroy, you must be a mindreader. Smiley  I was quite frustrated by the mistakes on page 2, so I went looking for a knitalong, and here it was! Grin

I really one to make these too. It'll have to wait a little though, I already have 3 pairs of socks on the needles.

At ibunnysavetroy's request:

I've only just begun the pattern on the foot.  Not very far (kept going back & forth on what yarn to use, then I cast on the wrong number for the pattern to work... Roll Eyes).

Good thing Charts A, B, & C are repeated exactly twice per 1x of Chart D or I'd keep losing my place on A & C!
