My wallet finally crapped out on me so I decided to make a new one!!
I used the Long Wallet tute by craftview.
I used vintage argyle corduroy and blue vinyl that I stitched argyle in black and silver.  The only problem is one side of my card holders is too small, and the other can barely squeeze in cards.  Next time I'd make it a wee wider (and make the bottom slot deeper).
Instead of adding a built-in coin pouch, I decided to make a seperate one (I always have gobs of change).  I used the same fabrication for the purse.  And of course I had to use pearl snaps for the closures.  At a garage sale this summer I scored a mini suitcase PACKED full of snaps, snap tools, eyelets, and sewing needles, all for $1.50!!  Horray!

That argyle corduroy is fantastic. I'm a sucker for vintage fabrics. Very nice.
