My turn!!!  I received from the lovely Stifflersmom this evening Cheesy  Thank you!!  First up, I wanted to show you the stamp she used on the envelope.  I thought it was perfect...and an absolute hoot!

Here's the card and decorated matchbox.  It's pretty, no?

Last but not least, the contents of the matchbox!  There were a couple of unmounted rubber stamps, gobs of metal charms, etc.  Perfect.  It's definitely not trash Smiley

Thanks for a wonderful swap, Stifflersmom!!

AR -- I'm glad you like the box.  I hope you can make use of all those bits!

What a pretty box! How did you make it?

A while ago I bought a faux aging kit.  It has 3 colors of paint (the shiny copper color, and two aqua-ish colors).  I sponged all 3 colors on the box in alternating layers until I couldn't see the original print anymore.  I was going to decorate the box more, but I liked the painted effect so much that I decided to stop there.

Last but not least, the contents of the matchbox!  There were a couple of unmounted rubber stamps, gobs of metal charms, etc.  Perfect.  It's definitely not trash Smiley

loves2experiment, that's a great box!  What wonderful goodies you have -- great job Stifflersmom.  I wouldn't have thought to put unmounted stamps in it -- clever!

I received from Stifflersmom today, too!  Oh, what a delightful package.  I rcvd a similar mailing envelope and card as the one lovestoexperiment posted.  My matchbox is handmade and the trinkets inside are great fun.

I will post pics of my darling box and contents tomorrow when, ahem, my 9-year-old daughter is home and I can borrow her digi camera.  And then, ahem, she'll have to download them for me so that I can upload to craftster (at least I know how to do that!Cheesy

Thanks a mil, Stifflersmom!  I'm crazy about the box and the goodies!
