yay! i'm in on the swap! i'm 22 years old and i live in the heart of the midwest. i'm finishing college this fall, graduating in december with a trumpet performance degree, a teaching certificate and a spanish minor! i used to just do jewelry and scrapbooking, then i got into bookmaking, and then branched out into anything i could get my hands on. sadly i fail miserably at knitting and crochet, but check out my posted topics to get an idea!

1. a kitty mallow stuffie. long story - my boyfriend shows me a picture of this tiny white kitty and all you could see was his face, surrounded by puffy white marshmallows.... and the caption said "plz not 2 eat.... i r not a mallow" and i thought it was so cute he started calling me mallow. i have a sketch here....
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=183670.0

2. the most awesome thing EVER would be black knee high socks with a gold "I" on the side. YEAH university of IOWA!!!! unfortuneately there's no picture... i can't find them ANYwhere.

3. eggplant earrings!! kishcrafts makes awesome veggie earrings! linked here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=169747.0   of course, the grapes and peas are also particularly awesome.

4. famowood resin - odd request, i know. i'm trying to get into that kind of stuff.

5. diy stenciling kit - i have no idea how to do it at all.

6. anything from my wists; seems to be a popular list item!

7. anything led zeppelin!!!!!

8. crochet stitch markers yummy yummy sweet decorated ones like maybe please? http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=169745.msg1733655#msg1733655 or just really pretty beaded ones....

9. scrapbooking stuff! especially stuff like fiskars texturing plates or fun little punches!!!
cool - i'm excited!!

Hi, I'm Joanna, and I'm 27. I'm in MI, USA and I am just beginning to plan my much delayed wedding reception with the hubby. I'm currently working a b.s. job until I get my MI teaching cert., while trying to control my baby fever, and reading lots of books. I love chocolate, the ocean and the beach (which I miss dearly!) books, live music, shiny things, and soft things. Anyone who adds local ephemera, cool postage, or a local postcard to their package will have my unending gratitude!

Wishes:

Supplies:
- alcohol inks in any colors
- I love rubber stamps, especially travel, victorian, nature themes or fun unusual stuff. Also any stamps for backgrounds (think swirls, checks, patterns...)
- Anything from this site: http://www.altscrap.com/index.php
- Wool Roving in cream/white shades so that I can make my own felted flower bouquet!
- a needle felting kit for the same reasons as above!
- A Brayer in any size as long as it is under 5 inches wide
- Water based printer's ink in any color, but definitely a little white or black if you have it!

Crafted stuff:

- I know it's crazy, but I love this bag if you're feeling way ambitious http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=5975682
- a fun skirt or dress for the summer ... see my wists/blog or PM me
- a new cosmetics case in this shape - http://littlemissmeshell.typepad.com/photos/bags/dscn5102.html
- a coin purse in this shape -
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=5963739 (p.s. ThreeGreenApples is a great shop! Love all the fabrics!)
- storage for my growing ATC addiction. Could be a binder like these: http://www.jencaputo.com/Shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=191
or a little book like the ones in this amazing gallery! http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=139253.10
- a jumper! I love some of the jumpers I've seen around craftster... these are all fab! http://www.flickr.com/photos/jessicarolland/411721501/ and
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=178081.0
PM me for sizing please!
- A shawl... I looove the one made by pawnshopromises on my wist
- luggage tags, in shades of yellow and purple, but each tag need not be both colors! I love fabrics with a vintagey feel, anything Amy Butler or Anna Maria Horner - ish, small florals might be nice, or seersucker? I can't have enough of them!
there is a pattern here: http://www.studiokatdesigns.com/freepatterns.htm
- Are you an artist? I'd love someone to do an art piece based on a photo like this one, but of me and my husband of course (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=181992.msg1892879#msg189287)
- a felted sash or belt. The one lexis made is gorgeous! http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=148108.10
- a coptic bound artist journal, with med/heavy weight paper and a lot of pages (this shop has a perfect example! http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=6279311)

- Also I'd love anything inspired by anything I've wisted! Just ask superhooker since she's making me a wisty surprise!

Thanks for reading my list!

I'm Heather!  I live in Royal Oak, Michigan (Detroit area), we just bought our first house!  It is wayyy bigger than my old apartment, so I need to fill it with craftiness!

I've got a husband(superhot!), a 7 year old son, an awesome dog, two hamsters, and assorted fish and an aquatic frog. I love coffee and all sorts of nerdy things like robots and dragons.  I also love Harry Potter.  We collect all sorts of religious icons (doesn't matter what religion).  My favorite colors are black, blues, greens, red, orange, yellow, all sorts of greys.  I also love octopuses and peacocks.  My husband loves anything Asian-y, or sushi related, and he likes comic books (the weirdo kind, like sandman and transmetropolitan, and JTHM, not the superhero kind).

Here's the list!

Supplies:
handspun or hand dyed yarn-natural fibers are best
pretty roving (I want to learn to spin!)
needle felting supplies
a resin kit
a microscope slide kit
neat ephemera
interesting cotton fabrics with cool prints or nice bright colors
pieces of velvety fabrics...any bright colors...anything 6 inch x 6 inch or bigger
fusible interfacing
pretty beads
sock yarn!
wool yarn, assorted (any bright colors, any thickness!)
strange and unusual yarns in jewel tones (I'm working on a super secret project, and I need lots of different yarns, even if its only 10-15 yards)
non-koolaid dyes for yarns. I'd like to try out acid dyes.
quilt blocks or granny squares...I'm making a crazy quilt, and an afghan out of assorted colors/sizes of grannies, so if anyone would like to contribute, it would be awesome!  Just make sure the grannies are acrylic, because i'm making the rest of the blanket out of old bits of acrylic I have laying around. (bright colors, please, no pastels!)
Your old knitting needles!  wooden or metal, any size, single or double point!

Made stuff:
Cool knitted or sewn bag (I like big ones!)
Hoodie (zip up!) with cool appliques or stencils
cute stuffies!
notecards/stationary
knitted socks
your original artwork...we collect work from independant artists!
artist trading cards...I frame them and hang them on my wall!
pretty cabled armwarmers in soft yarn
robot stuffy for my son
something cool for my new house!
Slytherin stuff!
Hello kitty stuff...I'd love a stuffy, or something like that.
Something day of the dead.  art/useful/funny/weird...whatever!
Cool windchimes for my new house!

OR anything from my wist!  it is HUGE!!!

Hello craftsters, thanks for looking at my list.

I live in the UK with my boyfriend and our pets. My main pastimes are crafting, movies, going to gigs/clubs and dreaming about holidays and travelling...
My favourite colour is green but I like most colours. I love animals and I recently got two of the most adorable rabbits they are naughty but I love 'em!
I like books, peanut butter, anything cute, tea, crochet (my newest addiction), nature, animals, shoes... more likes/dislikes in my profile Smiley

My wishlist.

-I need a skein of Perfect match yarn to finish a project, would really appreciate this if you live somewhere where they sell it! http://www.wists.com/ZC/cd3819918e05ba1bf7327d4aab27b003?offset=0
-Pincushion, maybe in the shape of a small animal? The cuter, the better.
-Anything Pinata themed. I've been playing Viva Pinata loads and got obsessed, I'm going to have a Pinata themed party soon.
-A magic yarn ball. Cotton would be awesome I want to start making some dishcloths.
-Oriental or nature themed cross stitch picture to fit in a 3"x3" frame.
-Red, black or cream cushion cover(s) (or a comination of those colours). I really like this http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=110561.0  any style or shade is fine, they are for my lounge and I can get the cushion(s) to go inside.
-A womens size L t-shirt with "meh." on it, like this http://www.wists.com/ZC/9ed4911defaab26f41565c4d92baecdd?offset=0
-A black or grey fabric capelet size small. Any design is fine, I like hooded ones and if it was lined that would be perfect! (Well, it is a wish list, right?!)
-A cute pair of pasties. Nope, not the yummy snack kind, the rude kind! Tongue Wink And some sort of adhesive might help as well. Examples of ones I like on my wist
-Handbag made from woven measuring tapes. I'd really like it to have a zip closure and handle(s) so I can take it out and about wherever I may go. If it had a flat bottom that would be even better!
-Jewellery with rabbits on it. Now I've got pet rabbits I need to spread the bunny love! Necklaces or earrings would be best.
-Bottle cap jewellery. Earrings, bracelets, cuffs or necklaces are all good.
-A rockabilly themed top, size small. Halterneck, shirt, bustier, cami, etc...handmade or reconned is great.
-Felted dreadlocks. Blue/green/black. 10-12 dreads would be awesome, I don't expect a full head or anything. I have long hair so they'd need to be around 30" long which would make them 15" when doubled over. Here are some links http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=5412705, http://www.angelfire.com/freak2/rovingtutorial/index.htm, http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=156591.msg1562591#msg1562591, http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=5953340
-Blue corn tortilla chips. Yes, this is an odd one but I'd like to try them and can't get hold of them over here.
-Embroidery supplies. I got an amzing book on stitches and would love to get started but have nothing to work with yet! thanks!
-Anything to do with yoga. I want to get started need something to get me going. I love the yoga socks in my profile. thanks!
-Beaded ornaments for my christmas tree (yes I am getting this one in early!!). Green, silver, black, white or any combo of those colours.
-Any old copies of Vogue knitting magazine or Knit.1.
   -Anything from my wists www.wists.com/ZC
   -Crochet earrings.
-An entrelac scarf, like knitty's Danica.
-Black/white/red quilted or patchwork cushion covers.
-A cute bunny rabbit stuffie. There is a really cute/clever one in my favourite projects.
-Stitch markers for crochet. (ones that open at the top)
-A cherry themed handbag, there's examples of my favourites in my profile and wists.
-A how to knit cables kit.
-Travel journal/scrapbook. I'm going to Paris in December, then Scotland, Ireland and London next year.

I live in Kansas and just got back from being a camp counselor at Spanish Peaks Scout Ranch in Colorado. I knit, sew, stencil, and spin (Ive just purchased my first spinning wheel).

Crafted Items:
-Ive been wearing man pants (a part of the boy scout uniform) for a month and a half, so anything even remotely girly will be much appreciated. Some ideas:
---An infinity dress (in jewel tones)
---A set of matching earrings and a necklace
---Skirts (Anything goes, my favorites include circle skirts, bustled skirts and ruffled skirts Something victorian or 40s inspired would be divine) I love this one here: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=5415167
---A yellow corset with a sweetheart neckline. Mmmmm.
---Cute Halloween Costume (A little early I know, but its good to plan ahead)
-Im a bit of a Renaissance Faire aficionado and would adore any new (or new to me) garb chucked my way. I could use:
---A new chemise (I have a 40 bust. Any color or fashion as long as I can wear it under a bodice)
---Bodice (PM me for measurements.)
---Bloomers (to prevent the dreaded chafing)
---A Billowy Cape.
-Other various items
---Crab claw oven mitts (a pair)
---Handknit socks (size 10 ladies)
---Bottle Cap Jewelry
---My Little Ponies clock (An example is here http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v505/EmilyKin/?action=view&current=0889_1.jpg )
---Stencilled tee-shirts with one of these phrases on it or something from my wists  (Pterodactyls are Pterrifying!) (I <3 Love Redundancy)
---A cute top to wear with my faun pants.
---Magnets (Cute, macabre or other wise)
---Posters or other artsy fartsy things to hang around my dorm room
---Plushies of any sort
---Some Sort of Holder for my Jewelry. A hangy thing would be great but anything will work. The checkbook box that holds my pretty things is getting over stuffed and all tangly.

Supplies:
-Fiber (any form, any type [plant, animal, or chemical])
---Fleeces (washed or raw), Batts, Roving, Locks, etc.
-Things to add to my spun yarn (Trinkets, bells, baubles, buttons)
-Yarn (Any weight, any color)
---Sock yarn and laceweight would be wonderful, but anything would be welcome.

Non-crafted:
-Chuck Palahniuk books
-Old Comic books to use to decorate
-My Little Ponies (odd I know, but I like having a couple around)

Interests:
-I like comic books, My Little Ponies, Mermaids, Centaurs, Birds, Harry Potter, Zombies, etc. A look at my wists for more information.
