It looks great!  We are so excited to get this back in our little office.  And yes, we will definitely be showing it off.  Stay tuned and we'll let you know where.  Thank you so much to everyone who participated.

(P.S. Hope you are enjoying the new job rozekitten)

Hi there!  I have no clue if you are the right person to ask, but I recently purchased a sewing machine that does embroidery.  The woman at JoAnn Fabrics made it look so easy.  I want to make tea towels, burp cloths, embroider my husbands shirts, etc, etc.  HOWEVER I am terrified of the machine and am looking for someone in Chicago to do an in-home demo/lesson.  I have a one year old and a two year old with whom I stay home, so the in-store class is kind of not an option right now...Know anything about these machines or someone who does?

The embroidery we are showing here on this tea towel is all done by hand.  I'm sure you can google the manufacturer of your new embroidery machine and get more information about how to use it.  I think with that sort of thing, you need to use stabilizer and a hoop.  Get some cheap muslin or an old shirt and give it a try.

Good luck!
