The only place I ever find that chenille rick-rack is in the clearance bin at JoAnn Fabrics or WalMart. I have no idea why it would end up in a bin with all those other unloved notions and trims  Huh Go figure.

Beetastic, I asked the same question about the chenille rick rack.  I'm in love with it, and I'm sure there is none to be found in my area.  I checked out ebay.  There is some packaged rick rack on there and some larger spools.  I want it all!!!  It's so much prettier in real life!

Did you all see the flickr embroidery blog today?  Our tour was the post for today: http://flickrembroidery.blogspot.com/2007/04/sublime-stitching-tea-towel-tour.html

We also got on the Craftzine blog: http://www.craftzine.com/blog/archive/2007/04/the_perfect_tea_towel.html
but they didn't show our embroidery.

I have finished my part of the towel.  I will be shipping it out tomorrow to kittykill.

Here are the pictures

Full towel

I really liked the thickness of the towel and brightness of the white.  I thought it absorbed very well.   I can not wait to see what other people do.
