Hooray!  You are awesome fenifer!  Our little towel is getting to travel to lots of fun places.  Can't wait to see what happens next!

Thought I'd let you all know that the towel arrived in Idaho yesterday.  I've begun to stitch my design on it.  There are some really talented stitchers on this board.  I'm feeling like a real newb at embroidery.

When I get a little further, I'll post a pic.

The towel is really nice.  I'd love to have some of these and some napkins to match.

BTW, I really dig the rick-rack on the bottom.  I'd love to find some like that.  It's awesome!

WOW!

Though I must confess I don't get to check these boards as often as I would like, every time I do I am so impressed and excited by what I'm seeing!  Ya'll are so awesome and it is so cool that we get to see pictures and get little updates along the way.  Just wanted to jump in and sing your praises real quick, it's really looking great.  And what's even better than that is the inspiration of seeing everyone connect in this way. Thanks all, I look forward to seeing what else is in store
xoxo

And now, the moment you've all been waiting for...

The towel is on it's way to lucky stitcher #7.  I sent it out this afternoon.  I can't believe I finished my stitching in less than one day.  I started it yesterday afternoon and finished up before I went to bed.  Granted, that was at midnight.   Shocked

This was so exciting and totally fun!

I like making stuff. Rumor has it, I'm an elf. Like a Santa Elf, not one of those elegant LOTR types.  Mostly because I compulsively craft and partially because I have green shoes.

Joolz - How did you get that raised effect on your cherry? Did you just satin stitch over and over again?

Also, how many threads are you guys using?
