OK, I'm all done.

I decided to do something that wasn't from a pattern so that I could see how easily it would be to trace through the towel. I thought I would need my light box but I didn't, it was very easy to see a drawing done with a thin sharpie. I tried a big chunky chain stitch, french knots and small stem stitches and it stitched like a dream. It stayed nice and tight in the hoop and gave the needle something to bite into. I had to add some rick-rack because, well.... I have a rick-rack addiction and it wasn't even an option. I love the towel and will love it even better if it has a nice price tag.
You will notice that the word from is a darker shade of red. Good lighting is very important kids! I realized this morning that it was the wrong thread and I decided to just leave it rather than hold up the tour by ripping and re-stitching.

Very nice!  Very nice indeed.  Great job with your stiching, and thanks for all of the info too.  I can't wait to get my hands on it!

I love the rick rack on the towel!  I was picturing it with rick-rack on it, so I'm glad you added it. It that a chenille rick rack? It looks so fuzzy.

Nice stitching!  Great idea to test the tracability (is that a word?).

I received the towel today.  I was so excited...The stitching looks great on Craftster but in person it looks fantabulous...The back looks super neat, I am going to have to try really hard to be neat..

The towel is nice and thick. I can't wait to stitch on it.  It is the nicest towel I have seen.  I wonder how much it will be??

I am going to try and get it done tonight because I have a swap (kittykill) I need to finish the rest of this week and the hubby is working late and I want to make sure to keep to the time constraints.

I took the Craftopia patterns..

This is what the towel looks like now..

I will post more later.

don't feel bad, if I waited until the weekend it wouldn't get done until next week.  Life is crazy so if I have a bit of time to do it now then I don't have to worry.  We love you susie, sorry I made you feel badly.. Sad

I love stitching on the towel.  The weave is great..I just wish I would have had my new patterns here so I could have used them.  Watch them come tomorrow..

The cupcake comes from Jenny's new book btw

*** too many typos so I fixed them
