I like making stuff. Rumor has it, I'm an elf. Like a Santa Elf, not one of those elegant LOTR types.  Mostly because I compulsively craft and partially because I have green shoes.

My perfect tea-towel is a bit like the old fashioned cloth diapers.  Soft, durable, and easy to stitch.  I figure if I go for all the work of dressing a towel up, I want to be able to use it and use it and use it.

After discussing this with our board admin KittyKill and Leah, and letting more than ample time pass, we have determined that RozeKitten is not going to show up with the towel. At the least, it is expected that a participant will not fall out of communication in this way once agreeing to participation. If she's lurking and reading these, then I want her to know she can pm me any time. But, we're calling this one lost to undetermined circumstances. *le sigh*

At the very least we hope the communication and return of a Towel On Tour (let's call it a "TOT", shall we?) won't ever go like this again. I, Leah, KittyKill, Mary and Jessica here in the office with me and all the stitchers who put their time and efforts on this project are muy, muy bummed. This being the very first tour makes it an extra bummer with boo-hoos on top. I am personally very, very disappointed. Yep. We need to move on to heal. So, let's start a new tea towel tour! We'll call it:

TEA TOWEL TOUR *Take 2*

But now we hafta have RULES:

1. The tour will begin and end with an established, trusted participant from previous tours.

2. An approximate finish / arrival date will be determined and agreed on.

3. All participants are expected to keep the towel moving on to the next stitcher. Take care of our TOT! If you can't finish your part, no harm! No shame in that. But keep the towel moving. Flood, famine and disaster not withstanding. Otherwise, don't break the chain, dude. Get the TOT home safe and sound.

4. Flake outs, 'making off' with the towel, saying 'it's been shipped' when it hasn't, and stopping communication for longer than two weeks and halting the tour gets you kicked off the tour, excluded from future tours (and our forum here on Craftster). Too harsh? Maybe, mmmaybe not. We'll decide on a case-by-case basis.

We have not, however, kicked RozeKitten off these boards.

Let this be a lesson to you all! (wagging finger and trying to look mean). Now, on with the next tour! Stay tuned for details...
