I wanted to embroider something for my mum for christmas that wasn't too big of a deal (we said $10 limits for presents and I'd already spent $30!!). I picked the three mexican-inspired images and some super bright colours and stitched away! It's probably the best stitching I've ever done (amazing how quickly one can improve!), and she loved them!

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Here are some more pictures, I edited them slightly in photoshop so the colours wouldn't be so washed out, and the stitches are clearer. I used chain stitch mostly, with embellishments (her hair, the folds in his pants, faces and body) done with backstitch, and satin stitch (her bra, shoes, panties).
