Thank you! No, I'm afraid it wouldn't work for cross stitch - punchneedle isn't worked in squares and the fine detail of the animals would get mangled if you tried to convert it.

I designed it this way specifically for punchneedle embroidery - cross stitch makes it easier to achieve shaded effects with many floss colours (which you can't easily do with punchneedle), but punchneedle is the perfect medium for creating bold designs with blocks of colour Smiley
