the skirts are very cute but you can sew the zipper behind the fabric so we would see only the zipper it self and not the margins.
Actually the zippers are sandwiched between the two layers ..then they are just trimmed out with seam binding . to make them a lil sturdier. ( you cant tell more in the strawberry skirt .. if you look the berry side is red and the  p. p. g. side is purple ,the zipper itself was a tan color)... I know it might look a Little better with out it , But with thinner (aka things that are not denim or cords etc...) fabrics .. I'm kinda scared that in a rush I might pull the zipper up to hard and cause it to rip out or something .. Plus I actually have like a garbage bag of zippers that I bought from a rummage sale ..so Ive been working with what i have ... I'm sure if I went to Joann's and looked around I could probably find better ( smaller) zippers...But I dint drive so I cant always go every where I want to ... Next  time I do make it to Joann's Ill look around and see what they have ...

Thanks everyone for the nice comments
Have a great day
Jayne

The reversible thing ups the coolness by about 1,786 points. Because that's a great thing when you need to pack for a trip.
