I was just reading about this on here http://www.craftyarncouncil.com/knitoutbrochure.html

Has anyone ever been to one of these, and if so, is it worth going to?  I am in Indiana and I am just now finding out about it, so it would be quite a drive, at the last minute, if I decide to go.  So if anyone wants to share experiences or whatever. Smiley

If I could get to the Mall of America I would go for sure!!! But I would do some shopping!!! I used to hate going to the mall - well - I still do. But I LOVE the Mall of America!!! Not sure why - but I do!!! Anyhow - I would love to attend a Knit Out also - but we don't have any around here that I know of. Let us know if you go!!

You can never change the past. But by the gace of God, you can win the future. So, remember those things which will help you forward, but forget about the things which will only hold you back.

Did anyone go this year?  I was really itching to go but the weather was too crappy.  I didn't want to get snowed in there.  Should I plan to go next year?  I'd like to know if this is a fun an worthwhile event.

I work at mall of america and sort of wandered through on my breaks. Its not something I'd travel very far for. It looked like a lot of standing in lines for free patterns. the fashion show was nifty but again...how far would I drive for it? I don't know. the fastest knitter contest was supposed to be cool though.
