Oh! I am loving all of these great afghans! I've already printed off directions for yo-yos, but they're easy enough to remember, I suppose. Just have to pay a bit of attention when attaching them.

I also love the "manly" one and I printed off the pattern for that, too! And, who would have thought I'd like an orange one? I didn't think orange afghans could escape that "oh so 70's look," but this one does- I love it!

Momkat, I love all of yours, too, especially the one with the lions! What pattern did you use to make that particular "square?"

Now, if I could just find the time (and the attention span  Wink ) to actually complete one!

Afghan's are awesome.  Its hard not to do no less than 3 at a time.  (Which is what I'm doing :p ) {a giant granny, 8" random different blocks and a yo-yo}

MomKat, I LOVE the Lion and that last brown and white flowers.
I wouldn't call my family too lucky... I started the blankets when I learned to crochet (3 years ago) and they have never been completed! I do honestly work on them from time to time though (have to rotate because I get bored doing so much of the same thing over and over) when I'm not working on a 'pressing' project (ie: baby shower gifts, swaps etc!)
Hurdles: I love the bright colors! so fun! I have to stick to granny squares because of my aversion to straight lines (can't draw them with a T square and a ruler, and certainly can't crochet them!!) it has to be in a round for me to attempt it! : Embarrassed
