Real Bone Squirrel "Doll"

hmm...um, strange, but oddly fascinating.  There's a taxidermy catalog that sells faux squirrel forms (to put the cleaned skin over) in really cute poses, like a football player and stuff.  That would be cool (like seamshistoric suggested).

Whoa! That's both creepy and very cool at the same time. I so don't have the stomach or nerves to work with actual remains, so kudos to you for doing this!

And I agree with the people above, you really need to find a skull (possibly mis-matched for added weirdness) and then try posing the little fellow in squirrely positions. Heck, you could even dress him in little outfits!
The possibilities are endless really, and that's an other thing I like about this. There's so much you can do with it!

Wow. I wasn't sure what to expect when I pressed to look at the image but that is a very nice joined skeleton.

I love skeletal remains. I have a bird's head at home that I need to sterilise (read - remove spider offspring from inside).

wow. This is really cool, but not something I would suggest looking at while eating raisins....I'd love to see a pic when you find a skull ^_^

Ooo, I love that. I'm weirdly jealous (less so when I picture myself *actually* scraping carcass off the road.) I've been thinking about doing something crafty with bones, like reassembling a chicken dinner or something like that. 

I once bought one of those cans of salmon, thinking it would be like a can of tuna, but it was much more graphic -- it had vertebra in it. And as much as I love a good spine, it was a lot to confront over lunch, ya know? But now I'm thinking I might get a can just for the supplies.

Amazing that you could do this. Did you break any bones? While other people mentioned they do not know how you had the stomach for cleaning it off the road I am more impressed that you where able to handle cleaning the flesh off the bones. I hope it did not take you long.

It'd be creepier/cooler if you could pose him in a stereotypical squirrel pose... like eating a nut, or something. \
