Today at work, I discovered something called Light Packet for shipping from Canada to the US or International. Here we ship a lot of small envelopes that are larger than letter mail, but still really light. We use small packet, but it's expensive. Light Packet is larger than letter mail but cheaper than small packet, and the delivery times are the same as letter mail. You can't get tracking or singnatures on it but sometimes that's ok. Is this new to anyone else?

So, for work, I did up a sheet of the rates and dimensions allowed for light packet, small packet and letter mail. Then I thought it might be super useful for me when I ship jewelry, which would make it super useful for a lot of people here.

It's a pdf document that I can email to anyone who wants it, but here it is as an image of not great quality because it's as big as I can post it:

you rock, that's awesome!

i discovered this a while ago, and just assumed i was the only one who didn't know about it....

FYI, some post offices will try to tell you it doesn't exist, but it does, hey're just confused... i've run across that a few times, but after promising them repeatedly that i've sent a ton of packages this way and they all were received fine, they let me do it.
