So, I'm sort of depressed, but not dampened in spirit  Cheesy

Okay, so I am SUPER skinny (my waist is only 26") but i have broad shoulders, so much so that when I was in a musical in eighth grade, the director asked me to remove my shoulderpads from my coat and I said I didn't have any in. Eek.

Well, I measured around my shoulder blades and right above my bust, and it came to 30 inches, and beneath my bust is 28. So, I'm basically a triangle with a serious problem. I tried on after I decreased, but I didn't make enough of them initially. So I had to frog all the way back to the 30 inch mark and work from there. It was a lot of math. but I can do it, I hope.

Here's my status.  I seperated the sleeves and then tried it on...yaaaayyyyy!  It fits!  It fits!  I'm making a sweater!  I'm a "big-girl" knitter now!  I'm so glad to have finally gotten to the point where I can make a sweater.  I don't know why, but I've  always considered the ability to knit a sweater one of the crowning achievements of knitting (just my own silly, personal feeling!  Smiley)

I think I'm gonna knit just one wide, red stripe in the center of the sweater.

P.S.  Awesome progress, Derkhan!

Has anyone done a long sleeved version of this yet? I am, I've got to the sleeves and wondering how many decreases I should do or when I should stop decreasing? Anyone tried it?

I finished two sweaters with this pattern!  So exciting!  This was such an easy and quick knit - I definitely plan to make more.

Thanks for the pattern!
