Sorry for the late reply! I'm still working on the cuff. I've been having some pain and stiffness in my hands that I haven't had before, so tried out if not knitting / crocheting / stitching for a while would help. Good thing is not knitting meant having time to  sew a quilt top from blocks that have been lying around for forever. An hour ago when I was really nearly done and literally was going to start sewing the very last seam, I hit a pin and broke my last needle. As I haven't knitted in at least a week, I think I'm ready to try it again.

So far, I've knitted about 1.5 inch of the cuff and I've been having the tightness problem as well. I'm also not normally a tight knitter.

I can fix this. I just need a pen and paper.

Oh, I am so glad you remembered us. I haven't gotten to turning the heel yet, but I just sent out my swap package so I will have more crafting time to devote to socks later tonight.

I've tried three times now, but I get stuck at exactly the same spot every time. In row 5, after the sl1 and k8, I only have 2 stitches left, while the instruction says ssk, k1. As far as I'm aware I've followed the pattern exactly every time.

Edit: 4th time lucky! I still don't know what I did wrong the first 3 times, but I managed now Smiley
