Agreed.  Your cookies came out perfect.  Using a cookie cutter shaped something like lips to make a butterfly was a great idea.

Oh wow.  Those cookies look fabulous!  I bet they were a big hit!

I made homemade truffles for the first time.  I think they turned out pretty well for my first time...and if nothing else, they taste AWESOME!

I made brownies and sugar cookies for a Valentine's day tea party...
They were so pretty.. the butterflies were actually a cookie cutter shaped like lips that I didn't think looked much like lips. We decorated with a simple glaze and flower sprinkles..
Gorgeous... I don't think I'd dare to eat those

Thanks.  They were actually really simple.  I used this recipe:  http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Easy-Decadent-Truffles/Detail.aspx

I rolled some of them in cocoa, others in the heart sprinkles, and then I dipped the rest in either good quality dark chocolate or milk chocolate.

I have been trying to eat more salads. It's not always easy to resist other stuff. What kind did you make?

It was baby greens, toasted walnut halves, and cranberry wensleydale cheese shavings with drizzles of lemon juice and walnut oil on top.  The inspiration salad had watercress, too, but I couldn't find watercress yesterday. It really was amazing and a big hit.

I made my b/f some cookies (like I do every year). I also did some choco chip, they didn't turn out well. When I took them to him, I had them in a little paper basket thing and when I handed it to him, the bottom of the one holding the choco chip fell out! He picked them up off the floor and ATE them! Five second rule or not, you don't eat cookies that were on the floor when a cat is sitting 6 inches away!

On with the cookies...
