I won't get a chance to bake this time.  I would love to know if anyone else will be making something special for Valentine's Day.

Sugar cookies and cupcakes for the kids parties. Truffles for me, and chocolate cherry and strawberry cheesecake for Hubster.

All tomorrow. (Tues.)
Yes, I'm nuts.

I think I'm going to surprise my husband with a batch of these vegan cupcakes, which I've made before and were so good. I think this time I'll tint the royal icing pink and pipe some hearts on them.

Spent over seven hours doing all that work and school was cancelled today!

ARGH!

Well, I'll just have a cookie and a truffle, and wait until tomorrow....

The vegan cupcakes and the Toberone Fudge sound good.  The picture of the cupcakes on the blog look just like Hostess. Yum!  I'm so glad the fudge won.  Great job.  School was cancelled.  Sounds like you are in area that got a lot snow.  All we got here was rain.

I bake all the time, so I actually already have leftover cookies (several varieties), fudge, brownies, and trifle.  So I made a special salad for Valentine's Day instead of more sweets!  Wink

I have been trying to eat more salads. It's not always easy to resist other stuff. What kind did you make?

I made brownies and sugar cookies for a Valentine's day tea party...
They were so pretty.. the butterflies were actually a cookie cutter shaped like lips that I didn't think looked much like lips. We decorated with a simple glaze and flower sprinkles..
