I have a huge list of cool quotes that I'm sending her (last I checked, it was 7 pages, and I didn't even include the "If you want breakfast in bed, sleep in the kitchen" quote I found here.  Smiley  There's a few variations of the dust one.  My favorite is probably:  "In my house, "dust" is a noun, not a verb."   Then again, I was an English major in college...  Grin

Right on, I'm very excited!  I think I may have to just learn needlepoint to make all the women in my family undomestic tea towels at christmas.  Messiness seems to have a strong genetic component.  (and I suppose my husband has just succumbed to peer pressure.)

Muria- any chance you could share your list of quotes? I'm always looking for great quotes to explain/justify/legitimize my lack of housekeeping skills! Plus, I think my aunt and I share the messiness gene and I'd like to make her something appropriate for Christmas.

Sounds good to me, as long as vegbee doesn't mind that we get a share of her goodies! Grin

Thanks!

yay!

I have a sign on my door at home which reads "Why should I tidy my room when the world's such a mess?". That still makes me laugh!

hey folks,

today's the day!  Unless you have pm'd me saying you will be late or you have already sent out, I would like to hear from you within the next coupla days.  So, you'd better not be busy cleaning.

I will update your profile when your partner confirms the arrival of your package.

DS is still throwing up, so I'm not going to make it out to the post office today.  Hopefully, he'll be better tomorrow, and I can hit the post office before the other one gets it. Roll Eyes  Sorry about the delay!
