hey everyone..
i'm super proud of this purse...so if you don't like it..i don't care..haha
i made it out of my sisters old pair of pants because i liked the fabric
so enjoy!

i just like the way it's positioned here...haha

the front

the back

and an unflattering picture on me..haha

i hoped you liked it
but it's really flimsy....is there any way i could stiffin it up without sewing interface in there?

that's really great!  i'm not much for the pants-to-purse thing.  but you've inspired me to look at all my old jeans in a more abstract (i can't decide on the right word) sort of way.  awesome!

Great purse! A wonderful way to recycle the things we love into something new we can love too.

Your bag is really cute. If you iron on interfacing to the inside, it will stiffen it, but then you might want to add a lining. If you were going to add a lining anyway, just interface the wrong side of it and add it to your bag, stitching the two layers together at the top.

Another  possibility is some kind of lightweight glue, like elmers that will dry clear. It will stiffen the bag, but will change the look. Sorry, I know that is not all that exciting. I might just live with the flimsiness and enjoy the lovely material.

Great job!
